Versatile Slip Dress

Hello babes & welcome back to MorganneRach,

I am so glad that you all have joined me today! I have such fun look, that you all are (hopefully) going to love! If you all have been following throughout the summer, you would know that I have been wearing slip dresses non stop! So of course, I had to incorporate one on the blog. I wanted to also sneak this look in before all the fall fashion hits the blog, because baby you know it’s coming!

By the way, I’m calling all my fall lovers this week. PSA: The Pumpkin Spice Latte is officially out! Who has gone yet? Because girlll you know I have gone everyday since. My season is almost here y’all!

Without further of due, let’s dive into today’s look. I can’t wait any longer!

Okay, how fun is the pattern on this dress? I thought the length, fit, color and pattern we’re oh so perfect for late summer. Plus the quality from Anthropology is unreal! As all of my recent and upcoming blogs will be centered around transition pieces and late summer looks, I wanted to still present summer options because yes, I am fully aware it is still summer and yes I am drinking a pumpkin spice latte in 90 degree weather! But, this dress made for such a comfortable, flattering fit. The deep blues and the emeralds with the tie die feel and pops of brightness truly attracted me to this piece! I thought, I had to share it with all of you because this dress could absolutely be worn, and shown off year round. Let’s get a closer look!

Another reason why I am obsessed with these slip dresses is because of this “swoop” neckline. I think for no matter what shape or size you are, the swoop neck detail gives off such a flattering look. I thought this dress was also very flattering by the subtle detail of the synch lines in the top portion of the dress. It made for a very comfortable feel while still showing some bust and curve. This dress would be prefect for work, date night or a wedding! Truly any late summer plans! Even into fall this dress would be adorable, with booties and a light jacket.

I think because the neckline made such a statement it is easy to pair and accessorize with. I went simple with stud earrings and a simple gold chain necklace. But I do think adding jewelry with the dress in general really made it pop even more! I also think, just as well as gold matched, silver would be a great choice as well!

Another reason why I titled this blog post “Versatile Slip Dress” is because within owing this dress I was able to do so much with it. I was able to create more of a casual outfit by adding white sneakers, and tying the dress at the end and popping on a light denim jacket. I wore this look out on a date, how I have it styled here. I dressed up the shoe, I dressed down the shoe and every look I created with this slip dress was so comfortable, flattering and trendy. I would absolutely recommend this dress, I promise you will love it just as much!

That is all for today loves, I hope you have had an amazing week so far! I can’t wait to show you all what’s in store for fall fashion this year on MorganneRach. Until next time loves, MAUH. I linked both the actual dress plus a more affordable option down below!

I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the amazing photographer who took these gorg photos. If you are in the Denver area Bri is AMAZING. I will link her siteĀ HERE. Thanks Bri!
