How long has it been since I said that? I think it has been near four months since I have posted here on the blog, way overdue! Life has been the craziest it has ever been for me over the past few months. I am ready to dive back in to some normalcy and fun which is why I thought today would be a perfect time to get to posting! Plus, I have been dying to show you outfit in today’s post. Although we are approaching summer and the weather is starting to truly warm up, this dress will be perfect for any date night or event you have planned this summer, so let’s dive in!
If you have been following the blog for sometime you know how much I love neutrals. So this dress from VICI was such a steal. Not only is it widely comfortable but it is so versatile because you can pair it both in a casual manner or a fancy night out. I have done both and let me tell you I have never received so many complements on a dress before. Not only is it a stunning dress but there are so many elements of flare that make this dress unique. Let’s take a closer look.
What initially drew me to this dress was the “off the shoulder” effect. I think it elevates this dress so much from a standard maxi dress to a fun and flirty piece. I have warn this dress most on date nights and it has been such a hit. Not only does it give off a flare vibe but it also makes it slightly more lightweight which allows for more use throughout the spring and summer months. Pair this dress with a fun sandal or summer heel and you’re good to go! This dress has such a pop element and a lot of it is thanks to this off the shoulder staple.
Not only does this dress have the off the shoulder piece but it has a flattering slit on the side that also allows for a more flirty feel. I loved pairing this dress with my go to nude heels because I felt like it complimented the dress so well. But like I mentioned you could do so much with this look because this dress is so versatile. Wearing a bright white pair of sneakers with this dress would be just as fun, flattering and comfortable. That’s why I have gotten so much use out of this look because the light beige color and unique flares to this dress give off such versatility.
We can’t end this blog post without talking about this headband. How perfect is this for the summer season? I am typically not a headband lover but when I find a good one I can’t get enough. This one has been a fan favorite over here. I will link similar options below for you all to get your hands on. It’s so fun how accessories like this can truly elevate a look like this! Just gives it that edge!
