First of all, happy freaking September! I cannot believe it is already my favorite month of the year! I have been waiting for fall months to come, all year. As most of my consistent readers know, this is my favorite time of year so yay! So happy! I spent some of last week putting up all of my fall décor. I just couldn’t wait anymore! Have you all put up your fall décor yet? I need to know because most of my family and friends think I’m crazy!
I have two more semi-summer looks for you all until the MorganneRach blog brings you fully fall fashion. As I have been saying for the month of August I have some looks, that incorporate pieces that can easily transitioned into fall wear. That definitely goes for today’s look as I am bringing you late summer street style. I know you all will love some of the staples I am working into this look! So let’s dive in to today’s look before I get too carried away and start going off about pumpkin spice or cozy sweaters, already!
See what I mean? Let’s start off with this Free People blouse because it has truly been one of my favorite pieces of the year. This blouse would be a perfect example of what I am talking about when I say transition pieces. Yes, it so perfect for late summer. Yes, I have worn the crud out of it this past month. But also yes, it would be perfect with a pair of ripped of fall denim and some booties with a brim hat. See what I did there? This top is oh so cozy, soft and flattering. I honestly could not wait any longer to show you all how perfect it is! I also love how the details on this blouse play with the look. I am a huge fan of the slight opening in the middle with the playful ruffles and tassels. This top is flattering for everyone. I cannot say enough good things about this top. I know you would all love it just as much for this upcoming fall season! Keep scrolling to see an up-close look and the marvelous ruffle detailing on the end of the blouse sleeves. This purse y’all, don’t even get me started. I wear this baby everywhere and it has easily become my most worn item this summer. First of all I don’t know about you all but I love black in a bag. Yes because it matches with every look, but also because it simply can just tie a look together. The size, shape and space of this cross body has left me never wanting to trade it out. I love the subtle detailing and the mysterious zippers and pockets! I will leave it linked down below of course. If you are in the market for a new cross body bag, I promise this one will not disappoint. And if you are not, this bag would make the perfect gift!
Okay, the moment we have all been waiting for. I could not wait to talk about these shorts. When I first saw these shorts online I was very drawn to them. But like in most cases regarding fashion, I was a little bit intimated and thought they we’re a touch out of my comfort zone. But like many aspects in life, fashion is about taking risks even if they’re small. So I bought the damn shorts and they have been one of my favorites items to date! They are so versatile and flattering, I was so surprised! If you know me, you know how much of a neutral lover I am. So naturally when I saw these shorts, I was like YES. I already was planning outfits in my head! I encourage you all to say yes to pieces that are out of your comfort zone, because maybe just maybe you might find a color, shape or look that suits you just right! Back to the shorts, I love the length and the cuff detail at the bottom, they are just a dream! Liked down below for you all.
I finished off the look with a playful leopard heel. These are the same heels that I war in nude (all the time) they are so comfortable. I need them in every color.
