A huge happy Thanksgiving week to you all. I am so ready to take some time to relax with family and eat some really yummy food! While we’re on the subject of food, what is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Mine is simple but one of the essentials, mash potatoes and gravy. Anyway, enough about food let’s talk about Thanksgiving style. Although, I know I will be in sweats the entire day, I wanted to give a little bit of outfit inspiration for those of you who are making that effort with your looks! I have an outfit for you all that I am truly excited about. One that will also be appropriate for the holidays as well. So, let’s dive in!
I wasn’t lying when I said this was one of my favorite looks! A little background behind this top. I actually saw it while on my honeymoon in Vail at a local boutique called BLITZ. I will link them for you all, they have the cutest, most trendy pieces. I went in to get a dress for a couple photoshoot and I could not get my mind off of this top. I went in, saw it, loved it and moved on to buy the dress I was there for. I left and went back to the hotel and could not stop thinking about this dang top, that’s how much I wanted it! So, in true me fashion, I went back to get it an hour later and here it is making an appearance on the blog! I mean, you can’t blame me right? Let’s take a closer look.
From the style to the color, to the texture difference of this shirt it is the perfect make up of a beautiful top. I love the puffy sleeve details. It’s giving me pirate vibes. Not to mention it makes for a really fun and comfortable aspect of the top. The sweater detailing is also what gives this top its shape and of course the beautiful color. I saved this look for Thanksgiving because it is the perfect mix between causal, flattering and comfortable. Just comfortable enough to stuff your face and have all the pie, but still be super comfortable.
A moment for this cross-body bag from Target. Yes, I said from Target. I saw this cute fall bag (that I use for my everyday purse) on TikTok and I ran to the Target website to grab before it sold out. I am so glad I did. It is the perfect mix between not to0 big and not too small. It also has the cutest plaid design that is neural enough to match with everyday looks! I think this bag also, really ties this look together. I am a huge fan of a cross body; it makes everything so convenient. Not to mention the square shape, so cute! Linked down below.
I also wanted to highlight these jeans from VICI. They have continuously been one of my favorite pairs to date. I love the shape, feel and flatter that they give off. I think they also accent a shirt like this perfectly by balancing out both structures of the pieces. The ripped details and boxy cut at the bottom make for s perfect fit with any ankle bootie! I am a huge fan also of a light wash. They are all around just a really quality pair of jeans and I am so thankful for them! (See what I did there).
