Sleek Black Dress

Hello all and welcome back to MorganneRach.

Happy March everyone! I hope you’re all having a fabulous start to the month so far. I know I mentioned in last weeks post but I am so excited for Spring. Not just for the warm weather, sunshine and birds chirping but also for the style. I have been dreaming up so many fun looks to show off on the blog. Today’s look is a great example of a winter to spring transition look and it was the theme I had in mind while putting this look together. I can’t wait to show you all the details for today so let’s get into it!

Okay for starters this is such a simple and timeless look but it truly is one of my favorites. I don’t think anyone will ever argue with a sleek black dress like this one. I think it’s such a flattering look on everyone. I found this dress for a super affordable price while remaining to be really great quality so I highly recommend. Not only is it super form fitting and flattering but it is very comfortable and I feel like I could wear it anywhere. One of my favorite words to use on the blog is versatile, but when I say it I mean it. Especially with this dress there are endless amounts of ways to style it!

This off grey suede jacket has to be one of my favorite additions to my wardrobe in the past couple months. Not only is it adorable but it is so on theme for the transition from winter to spring. I think because of the fabric, weight and fit of this jacket it is so easy to pair over a dress such as this one, or a causal bodysuit and jeans. It’s also such a great layering piece which is so perfect for this time of year. Especially here in Colorado where you never know what kind of weather you will be getting. The color is so flattering and I love all the button details. I could go on and on about this jacket. It does come in many different colors as well if you’re looking for that pop!

I wanted to show off this dress without the jacket because I think it truly shows the level of comfort and flattering qualities. I have been wearing this dress everywhere and will continue to in the early months of spring. The long sleeve also add such a flattering layer onto this dress. Like I mentioned before it is so easy to style and either dress up or stay a bit more causal. I have paired this look with a pair of sneakers and a jean jacket or like I styled it here with heels and a suede jacket. Accessories really make an outfit like this pop!

Alrighty loves that is all I have for you today! I am so excited to share more transition outfits until we finally hit Spring! I am so looking forward to it. All pieces will be about to be shopped down below. I hope you were inspired in someway by today’s look! Until next time loves, MUAH.

I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the amazing photographer who took these gorg photos. If you are in the Denver area Bri is AMAZING. I will link her siteĀ HERE. Thanks Bri!
