It has been a hot minute since I have posted but girl this wedding planning has kept me busy! I have a really girly, flirty and fun look just in time for Valentine’s Day. In the past, I have blogged both formal and causal looks for Valentine’s Day. I wanted to mix the best of both words and give you all my twist on a modern day, Valentines look. Before we dive in, what are your plans for Valentine’s Day? No matter what your circumstance is, I would love to know what you’re up to this holiday! Jake and I don’t have any major plans (to my knowledge) but I always get excited for Valentine’s Day. It’s fun to celebrate love!
Okay, I think we need to start out with the obvious, this pink top from VICI. I saw this on the site, and I knew I would have so many options when it came to this top and Valentine’s Day. Like I mentioned I wanted to create a mix of both a casual and formal look, but this top is so versatile and can be worn in so many different ways! My focus when I buy a piece, is to become more intentional about what I am buying and wearing. Tops like these make it easy because yes, I will wear for Valentine’s Day, but I will style with many different looks throughout the year! More bang for your buck as they say. Let’s keep going, shall we?
These jeans! I think I was most excited to show you all these jeans because they are so on trend right now! These Levi’s are truly my go to denim right now. I have found so many different ways to style them! I thought these straight legged jeans would be perfect for this look because they add a flirty and sassy edge to this look! I love how they tie the entire look together by complementing both the top and shoe.
Heart shaped earrings? DUH! I had to add these cuties by Lauren Conrad. Her pieces are so fun! I wanted to add t touch of Valentine’s into this look, and I thought these earrings were a perfect way to do so. I also thought a stylish heart clutch, or a pink purse would be so fun to! How would you spice up this look for the occasion? I love the little details!
