As always I am so excited that you are all here with me today reading along! What is the weather like where you are located? Here in Colorado, it is still spitting out snow left and right. Our late winter, early spring storms are some of our heaviest snow all year! Because we are in this strange limbo here in CO where one day is sunny and bright and the next is bone chilling cold, deciding how to dress and layer up can be tricky! But for today’s look, I wanted to go somewhere in between not only for all of you here in CO but for other states and locations where spring is starting to peek! Let’s dive in!
This white, light and bright polka dot top is my absolute new favorite addition to my wardrobe! I am so excited for the endless possibilities of styling this beauty this upcoming spring and summer. As I mentioned before, it has been tricky knowing what pieces to pull out for late winter, early spring but one reason why I love this top so much is because it is appropriate for layering and makes any layer outfit that much more stylish. It is ultra-comfortable, lightweight and easy to pair with just about anything. Guilty, but I have been wearing this like crazy! Now on to this denim!
When I tell you all that I found my new favorite pair of denim, I am not lying! These jeans from Red Dress & Flying Monkey are the most comfortable yet flattering jeans I have owned to date! You know that feeling when you first put on a pair of denim and they are instantly tight, and uncomfortable (the main reason why I live in leggings 90% of the time). These jeans are the equal amount of comfort. I love the shape, hold and fit they are just an all-around feel good jean. Not only do they feel good, but the cut is so prefect for any bootie, or spring sandal. I can’t wait to continue styling them throughout seasons to come this year! Go snag a pair before they sell out!
I had to quickly show you all a close up of this top because it is so gorgeous! I think what drew me into this top even more so, was the back. It is so flattering hugs and cuts in all the right places! I have always been drawn to this shape in tops because they create dimeson but still giving you that comfort aspect. I also love the subtle detailing on this top from those dots to the collar detailing. Just the most perfect causal top but giving any causal look a little something extra! Shop this top down below! I also added, yes you guessed it, a white brim hat! It just completes any look!
Last but not least I wanted to include this gold layer necklace from a local boutique here in Colorado. I know I have talked about them before, Inspyre Boutique. I will link this piece and similar options down below. I know we all probably own something like this by now because gold layered jewelry has been so “in” this past year. But I wanted to emphasize what a different dainty pieces of jewelry make in a casual look such as this one. It doesn’t take much!
