I hope you all are having a fantastic week so far. As I stated in my last blog post, I am so super busy with all things wedding, but you bet I have found time and energy to do a little pre- fall shopping! Run to Target, they have the cutest fall pieces! I’m such a sucker for the fall decor, who else?
Also, like I also mention, I am so excited to share today’s look. Let me tell you why! Not only is it chic and trendy. But this look is so func and practical for a late summer transition outfit into early fall. Yes, it’s simple and minimal but I love including these types of outfits on the blog because I know majoirty of you all can relate to practical. I don’t want to wait any longer, even though I could totally sit here and chat forever! Let’s dive in.
Olive green is just the best, and you cannot convince me otherwise! Am I right? I have been loving a dark statement green for years! I feel like it truly flatters everybody which is so key in fashion! I also wanted to touch on the shape and body of this top. Button down, three simple buttons. Love it! But it also ties on the bottom which adds such a fun flare to this top. When I picked this beauty out from ZARA, I saw it paired with a matching hunter green skirt which would have been such a moment! But I decided to scale down for the blog and create a street wear outfit that could most definitely be practical for you all. That is not to say that you couldn’t totally play up this top! Matching skirt, different skirt, fun bottoms, a tank underneath! Options are endless. I am gravitating towards articles that serve multiple purposes, and that ladies and gentlemen is this top!
A moment for the bling bling! We are all still loving gold layered necklaces, right? Because I can’t get enough! I saw this beauty of a piece on VICI (of course) and I knew I had to snag it up! One thing I love about this piece is that each necklace comes off individually and becomes its own necklace. I don’t know if I am new to the game, but everything layered necklace set I have owned, chucks together. So, I really appreciated that feature. I love how each necklace makes its own statement. I will of course link down below for you all! I also am loving how this accessory really pulled this whole casual look together!
I am so going to brag about these jeans for a minute! I actually picked these out during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and I am so happy I did. They have easily become my favorite pair of denim yet. My favorite part about them is, you and truly feel the quality of these jeans when you put them on. They are lightweight but have lots of depth! What I mean is the shape and hold they carry is extra flattering. I have paired they with countless outfits so far and I am loving how they highlight in all the right places. You will not be disappointed, and I truly mean that! Linked down below.
Another feature I forgot to mention about this top that I am such a fan of is these sleeves! I absolute love the open, wide sleeves. I think these top carries so many details that make it unique. Finding a top like this to pair with such a causal look is so fun! The sleeves do make such a statement and add such a boldness to this entire look.
