First of all, happy Thursday! I am so glad you are all tuning in today to read along with me for yet another fabulous blog post! Today’s look is very bold for spring which I am super excited to share and hopefully inspire some of you to reach out of your comfort zones in terms of style, color and textures! I have shared a similar approach to spring style, last year on the blog and I wanted to keep the tradition going. So let’s dive in! I can’t wait any longer.
Okay, what caught your eye first? The ruffle top or these statement pink jeans? I can not stay away from the colored denim! I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I really have been inspired and want to encourage you all to try one style per season that may intimidate you. (Just a little bit). See that is the fun part about fashion! Stepping out of your comfort zone and really open doors and create a new sense of style you never knew you had in you! That is my prime example story with colored denim. As fun, creative and versatile as wearing a blog and patterned top so is playing with different sorts of bottom styles such as colored denim or a textured skirt! Spring and summer is the time to test the waters too. I’m tellin ya!
Going into a little more detail, I got these beauties from Red Dress Boutique. I have raved about them from the beginning of the blog but truly if you are in the market for quality denim of any sorts, Red Dress is a must! Compared to lots of denim I own, even boutique denim Red Dress is just my favorite! That’s why when I knew I saw these magical pink denim pants, I knew they were going to be a quality set. Let’s not forget to talk about how comfortable they are. I love flexible and wearable denim! It just truly makes for a perfect, causal and or fancy outfit. I sometimes dread wearing jeans, (like most people) but I promise you these jeans are not only bold and pink but they are so comfortable!
Now for what to pair with such a bold statement pant such as these pink jeans! Of course, I went with a safe option but I still wanted to challenge myself in terms of playfulness and texture. I knew I could still have fun with this look. So, I went with this ruffle top (super affordable) from Target! It’s extremely lightweight, non see through and is so comfortable. What I also love about this ruffle tank is that is easy to tuck into bottoms. I look for that in tank tops because I am someone who loves to fold in my tops to my denim! I can’t recommend this top enough. And who doesn’t love a little ruffle?
For accessories, I wanted to play off the bright and bold pink color in this denim. Of course, that is the inspo behind this entire look. I found these SugarFix earrings at Target, therefore they are super affordable and easy to access! They have such a fun spring and summer shine to them. I can’t wait to keep styling them all season long. Of course, all details will be linked!
I also went simple with the shoes and just added some buckled sandals. But like I said this look can really be custom to you and how much or lack of color you’d like to incorporate! I love the idea of wearing a super colorful top with these jeans or a graphic tee! I think the options are endless. No matter what, I hope you were inspired in someway by today’s look!
