Welcome back to MorganneRach. It is Thursday meaning I have a new look for you all! I wanted to update my readers that Thursday is the day that I will be posting each week. I am so excited to be more consistent on here. Engaging with you all is my favorite, and I have had so much fun creating new spring looks each week. Today’s look is something I definitely stepped out of my comfort zone for. I saw this floral denim jacket and I remember going back and forth on it. I put it in my cart, removed it, and then just went for it and bought it. I am so glad I did because it has been such a playful piece in my wardrobe this year. Here’s how I styled it.
This yellow is such a beautiful color in general but there’s something about this color in the spring and summer time. I am loving anything floral so this jacket just seemed obvious, I had to have it. I paired it simply with a staple white cami from Nordstrom Rack.
On to this denim. I ordered this pair of flared denim from Vici Dolls. I immediately thought, “I’m returning these. They are too big and baggy.” Time got away from me, I never wore them. I tried a redemption outfit on with them a second time and fell in love with the fit. It was all about the way I styled them and what I paired them with. Something about the over sized denim trend that I am loving. They quickly became one of my favorite pairs of jeans that I own. I loved how they played with this look and the denim up top. I have been wearing this outfit non stop when I still want comfort but need a bit of that “I got ready this morning look.” Vici is sold out of the actual pair but I did link similar pairs down below.
I have linked this bag before but I could not resist pairing it with this outfit. I all about a cross body bag and a colored clutch this year. I thought this color and vibe was a perfect match for this look! I use this cross body bag on the daily. It is very spacious and sturdy if you are in the market for a new bag.
I topped of this look with a simple pearl white earring. Pearl earrings are never a bad idea.
I have to admit this summer weather here in Colorado has felt AMAZING. I am loving gardening outside and keeping busy, it definitely keeps me motivated to keep my days busy and light during this crazy time.
