I hope you all are having an amazing week so far! June, has been so crazy busy but I am loving the warmer weather (for now) and diving into summer fashion. What is your favorite summer trend? While on the subject of summer style, I have lots of summer friendly looks coming your way. Items, to look out for; summer dresses, summer ready accessories and lots of summer shoes! I am excited this year to dive in and get creative with colors, textures and styles this season. To kick off my first summer look of 2021, I have this white denim dress, because WHY NOT. Let’s talk details.
Okay, first of all how cute are these colors on this brick behind me? I had to talk about this location for just one minute! This colorful brick brought out the neutrals in today’s look so beautifully! If you are near Denver and looking to elevate any of your pictures, visit this colorful wall located near Mile High Stadium. Now onto the look! I have found so many different reasons to wear this white denim dress. Despite the first look, this dress is very comfortable and multipurposed. I also love the layers of this piece, starting with the collar which can be styled both popped or flat. Even down to the bottoms and mid waist knot tie, which is meant to create shape and depth when styled. I love how this piece is so much more than just a summer, denim dress! Its elegant, and casual all at the same time.
Let’s dive deeper into the details of this look. Although very simple, this look would be perfect for many occasions, as I mentioned before. Wither to a causal day at the office, a baby shower or even a bridal party (for the bride) this look speaks volumes to summer style. Summer brunches have been my JAM lately (get it?) and I may or may not have gravitated towards this dress, more than a couple times. As shown in the immediate pictures above, the buttons and waist tie, synch add so much to this look! I have had lots of fun styling these details and making this piece look more causal or dressy! Might I add, this dress is versatile!
Summer flats are my go-to this season! I have some exciting news for you all! I picked out these flats from Addison & Grey. I will link them down below for you all to grab yourself a pair, and explore. I love these “Confident & Kind Flats” not only for the name of the mules, but the style. Like today’s dress, these shoes add lots of texture, color and style. I have never or do not own anything like these shoes, so based on the trendiness and uniqueness, I knew I had to get them!
