Happy Monday Everyone!

We have one more week until Halloween is here and I cannot wait! I thought I would do three quick and easy DIY Halloween costumes for all you procrastinators out there, like myself! I had so many ideas for you guys but I narrowed it down to three, two individual costumes and one couple costume! Read along if you’d like to see how I created these three looks! Thanks so much for tuning in!

  Look Number one: Starbucks Girl

You guys! I cant even tell you how thrilled I was about the outcome of this costume! I personally love Starbucks, way too much so naturally I thought this would be a perfect costume and for anyone who loves Starbucks as much as I do!

First lets get into what you will need!

  • Brown/tan or white dress of your choosing
  • Ivory white fabric for the whipped cream and check boxes. I got mind from Hobby Lobby (1 yard)
  • Paper towel roll
  • Green paint
  • Fabric Transfer Paper or iron-on transfer paper
  • Print out of Starbucks Logo
  • Hot glue gun
  • Iron
  • Scissors
  • Paint brush
  • Needle and white thread
  • Sharpe and or black puffy paint

Steps

  • Step one: Paint your paper towel roll with dark green paint and then set aside to dry
  • Step two: Cut out a portion of fabric that you will use for your whipped cream then hot glue fabric together making a rippled like pattern.
  • Step three: Once the fabric is glued together and dry then sew the whipped cream onto the dress
  • Step four: Cut out your Starbucks logo printed on the (iron-on) paper, then place onto dress and iron on
  • Step five: Cut out little squares out of the fabric and create little boxes and title each one according to whats on the Starbucks cup. (example down below)
  • Step six: Hot glue or sew the squares onto the back or side of the dress
  • Step Seven: Make sure the paper towel roll is dry then hot glue somewhere in the mists of the whipped cream.

Then you’re all done! I have seen people write their names or “PSL” on the dress, as the barista would at an actual Starbucks which I think is super cute! But make it yours and have fun with it!

Look Number Two: Classic black cat

If you love playing with make up for Halloween, you will totally love this look! I feel like a black cat is a go-to costume for a lot of people who need a last minute option because it’s super easy to do! I love how this look came it, but even more so loved how easy it was to create!

What you will need:

  • Black Cat Ears of your choosing
  • Black face paint or anything you own that can do the job just as well
  • Black sweater

Steps:

  • Step one: Re create your face into a cat by adding a nose and whiskers! Make it yours, play with it! This is totally up to you on how you want your face/cat to look like! There are also so many different ways to do it!
  • Step two:Place ears on head!

Also, you can wear whatever you want with this look! Dress, a skirt or sweater! Its totally up to you! That is  what I love most about this look! Also I saw a little cat tail while I was shopping, which I thought would be perfect so feel free to add on anything you’d like!

Look number three-Couple costume: Hockey Player and The Stanley Cup

I saw this look on Pintrest and I thought it was too cute not to recreate! My boyfriend and I have been trying to decide what to be for the longest time and I knew this was perfect when I saw it! Cody has played hockey for as long and I can remember and I grew up watching it because my dad and uncles grew up playing as well, so hockey is definitely in our blood! I love how simple this was but super cute and creative! It’s also nice if your man isn’t really into the whole dressing up thing (like mine) all they need is a jersey and that’s it!

What you will need:

  • NHL cut out
  • Kiss cut outs
  • Silver sparkly dress
  • Bowl and or something in a circular shape
  • Tin foil
  •  NHL Jersey
  • Headband
  • Hot glue gun

Steps:

  • Step One: Hot glue the NHL and Kisses cut outs onto the dress wherever you please.
  • Step Two: Hot glue tin foil around bowl or whatever you may be using as the head piece, to give it that shinny Stanley Cup look!
  • Step three: Hot glue, tin foil bowl onto headband

After that you’re all ready to go!
