Hey loves! Happy Sunday and welcome back to my blog!

I have been sooooo busy this week, so I wanted to create more of a “relaxing” post for you all today! Sunday’s are my favorite day of the week for many reasons, but I thought I’d share some of the ways that I spend my Sunday’s to wind down from the busy week and relax! If you’d like to know how I spend my Sunday’s and a few tips to improve your own relaxing routine, then please keep reading on!

1.Breakfast! 

On Sunday’s I always like to treat myself by going out to pick something up for breakfast! It may not be the healthiest option, but it wakes me up and puts me in a great mood for the rest of the day! I either go to Starbucks (of course), Dunkin’ Donuts or my favorite brunch restaurant Le Peeps! It’s just a fun way to treat yourself and relax on a Sunday morning! I love love love my latte’s so I also always get my favorite drink when I go and pick something up! Lately, its been iced caramel lattes, macchiatos or white chocolate mocha’s with caramel drizzle! (SO YUM!) I also try my hardest to also eat a full and healthy breakfast to fill me up for the rest of the day!

2.Running errands

I don’t know about you guys, but Sunday is always my day to get all my errands completed! I ALWAYS get super stressed out when running errands, so I always try to organize where I need to go and what I need to get! We all know how it goes once, we step foot in Target, going in with one thing on your list and coming out with a hundred! (anyone else?) So, my tip for running errands is just to stay organized and stay focused on what you need to accomplish! Another goal I had for myself this year, was to show myself more self love. One way I’ve been practicing this is buying myself flowers every weekend! Flowers always give me a little sense of brightness during my day and lifts up my spirts! It doesn’t have to be anything huge but just something little to do for yourself! Try it out!

3.WATER!

One of my weekly goals is to drink more water. I am so bad at keeping up with how much water I drink! So Sunday is the day that I try to make up for all the dehydration I have encounter during the week. I like to fill up a big water bottle and keep track of how much water I’m drinking and how much I should be! It always makes me feel super refreshed!

4.Cleaning

Like many people, Sunday is my day to clean and get organized! I like to clean my room spotless and get all of my laundry done for the week to come! I also like to clean out my car and get everything neat and tightly for the week ahead. It just always to help to be super clean and the feeling of being organized is so satisfying! I’m also such a perfectionist (Virgo) so I always feel so off when things aren’t the way I’d like them to be! One tip I have for you all while cleaning is to not make it such of a chore! Whenever I clean I love to blast my country music and sing on the top of my lungs while I clean! It always helps motivate me to clean faster and more effectively! (haha)

5. Exercise

Another reasons Sunday’s are my favorite day is because I get to play lots of soccer! I grew up playing soccer, even competitively! I now play on a co-ed indoor soccer league and I LOVE IT! It’s such a fun way to keep active and release some energy! No matter what your doing is always so important to stay active! Just like cleaning, make it fun! It doesn’t have to be just running on a treadmill, go outside and go for a run with your dogs or shoot some hops with your kids or family members!

6.Give your skin a break!

On Sunday’s I always like to give my skin a break form wearing make up and to just let it breathe for a day! I also like to do any kind of masks I have or just treat my skin extra well and rejuvenate!

7.RELAX!

My last and final tip is to relax! That’s what Sunday’s are for right? Make yourself your favorite smoothie or tea, light your favorite scented candle and just relax! Turn on your favorite movie or music and just let yourself breathe and let go of any stress or worry! One thing I wish I could do more of is taking baths! I LOVE baths and I think it’s an awesome way to relax and give yourself some alone time to focus on you and pamper yourself! Also I think a great way to reflect and gather your thoughts is to journal or write down how you are feeling and allow yourself some time to collect all your thoughts and release any negative ones! It’s so important to give yourself some time to just unwind!
