Happy June! I cannot believe I am typing out those words right now, where did time go? I feel like just yesterday it was the beginning of the year! So crazy! I hope you all are staying healthy and enjoying the weather as it is stating to warm up. I know I am! I have been looking forward to warm weather for a while now. Although it is June and almost our prime summer months, I still have a few spring looks to sneak in, that too will be super wearable for summer. Because, I know we are in that spring to summer transition phase. Today, I have a really girly, spring look that I know you all will enjoy. Let’s dive in!
Talk about floral heaven am I right? This stunning maxi, floral dress from Lizard Thicket is easily one of my favorite spring picks to date. It is so easy, flexible and comfortable for any spring occasion. Honestly, I would wear this baby just taking a mid day nap! Jokes, but seriously, this dress would be magic for a baby shower, wedding, date night, girls day out. All the above! I cannot brag about it enough, it’s just that good! For spring, I love any good floral combination, I am never picky about the colors, layout or flower print. But girl, something about these cool blues, purples and greens are giving me such a vibe! I knew as soon as I saw it surfing on their site, I had to show it off to you all!
The whimsical movement of this dress, has me so obsessed. The overall feel and shape of this dress allows for such comfort and confidence. Don’t get me wrong when I say, I love a form fitting dress that shows off figure and curve. But something amount a flowy, light spring dress that allows room to give, is a must! I can see myself holding onto this dress for years to come! I am listing in my head, all the appropriate events it would be perfect for!
Getting a closer look at the print and details of this dress, I love the semi puff and detail in both the shoulder seem and the wrist seem. Because this is one piece, a maxi dress and busy keeping the other details subtle is spot on. But I do love, how it highlights and allows for some dimension in the dress. Also both details in the shoulder and wrist give the feel of an elastic fit, so it will adjust to everyone’s body shape, which is not only important but again allows for the ultimate comfort piece!
If you know, you know but I paired this dress with my infamous nude sandals. These heeled spring sandal are a MUST and are my absolute go-to shoe. If you don’t believe me, just look though 90% of my other looks! The fun part is though, that this dress is very easy to accessorize. Playing with the shoe color, any jewelry, a hand bag or hair piece would only heighten the beauty of this dress and make it more pronounced. As I continue to enjoy and style this dress, I will definitely play more on the beautiful color scheme and accessorize accordingly! That’s the beauty of wearing florals!
