Sky Blue Maxi Dress

Hello loves and welcome back to MorganneRach,

I hope you are all having a fantastic week so far! I am soaking up some spring weather over here in Colorado (finally). But I am still taking full advantage of the transition pieces I have been showing off because it’s still not quite sundress weather. I also am taking into consideration comfort level moving through the summer. Not only because I’m pregnant but because I know a lot of us love the “less is more” wardrobe. I can’t wait to show you today’s look that is perfect for both spring and date nights for the upcoming summer. Let’s dive in!

Okay, not only am I loving this sky blue color because I’m having a baby boy BUT how stunning is this color for Spring! I keep gravitating towards this color as the season is progressing. It’s just such a flattering color on everyone (in my opinion). I can’t get enough of it. This long sleeve maxi from Amazon, is so comfortable and a lightweight fit for the cooler evenings or the not quite warm weather in the Spring. It’s so nice to have a staple like this to pull from when this time of year rolls around.

Let’s talk some accessories I incorporated into this look. I love the play of the light blue and the light pink hand bag. I am definitely in my soft baby era with these tones! I think they just compliment each other so beautifully. This handbag is such a fun way to add some color into everyday spring and summer looks. Not to mention it’s easy to tote around while also being roomy at the same time. From Amazon again, it’s super inexpensive! I cannot say enough about this beauty. Linked below for you all. It also comes in a variety of different colors.

I have been eyeing these earrings for a while now and thought the Spring would be the most perfect time to pull the trigger. I love the clay look to these types of earrings. Adds for such a cool texture and pop to outfits like this where you can have a lot of fun with the accessories. I linked them down below for you all. All the earrings in this collection look just as cute too!

I’m truly loving how this entire look pieced together. If you are an expecting mama this dress is so flattering for the bump. I have even highly considered it for the baby shower, or different events I have coming up knowing the the bump will be growing and growing. The material is lightweight as I mentioned but not in a bad way. Just super breathable which is so key in pregnancy. I also will be keeping this dress for the postpartum stage and beyond. I know this dress will also make for such a cool layering piece in the cooler seasons. Just an over all staple of a dress! It’s also under $50.00, that’s always such a steal. Again, I know it comes in other colors as well if the blue isn’t speaking to you.

I know I always say how much of a neutral girl I am and in the past two or three blog posts I have been jumping out of my confront zone with that and branching out with new colors, textures and designs. This dress is a really easy start if you find yourself in that same position. Also sticking within the same pallet of colors also really helps as well. With this look, I tried to stay within the pastel color range all throughout. From the dress to the purse to the earrings, all of the separate parts of this look really compliment each others tones. I’m going to say it again, but you could also really play with the dressing up/down of this look. Grabbing a pair of fun sneakers and a jean jacket (as I always say) or truly making it your own. This dress is meant to be a staple, so have fun with it!

This look has been so fun to create for you all. I think it’s one of my favorites so far. Again, I know I tend to repeat myself BUT this look is also so flexible for excepting moms and not. Such a flattering look on everyone! Everything from head to toe will be linked down below for you all. Amazon was the winner of this look. Trying to make this outfits more convenient for you all to recreate and shop.

That’s all for today! I hope you were inspired in someway by today’s look. I had so much fun with this one. More spring and summer looks are on their way so stay tuned. Until next time loves, MUAH!
