As always, I am so glad that you are here! How is everyone? I am finally on summer break and I am feeling amazing, and ready for fresh starts. I don’t know about you all, but there is something about the Summer time that awakens me and allows me to gain a sense of rebalancing and rest. Although, I am not a huge fan of the summer heat, I love the relaxation that this season brings and not to mention, the fashion!
Before we dive into lots of summer friendly looks, I want to highlight some more of my spring favorites similar to the look I have styled for you all today. Not only is today’s look simple, casual and edgy but it brings a sense of transition to spring to summer style. I can’t wait for you all to see! Let’s dive in!
Can we all agree that this light sage/olive color is just perfect? I am absolutely loving the pastels this season! They are everywhere too. I know I mention this over and over but these light and bright colorful pieces for spring just add such a sense of happiness and excitement to any look, I am definitely evolving from my everyday tans, beiges and browns! Who is with me?
Anyway, this T-Shirt dress from VICI Dolls. is a piece that I have been styling over and over, and was waiting so patiently with excitement to show off to you all. Now, I know these padded T-Shirts have been everywhere right now but, I am telling you, that this dress is so beautifully crafted. The quality (just like everything) from VICI is so spot on, and I have been loving wearing this dress to any occasion this season. I will continue into the summer as well!
I know I have raved about this clutch from VICI before. When I tell you this beige hanging clutch is my all time favorite, I mean it. Especially in the warmer seasons, I bring this baby with me everywhere I go. Something about the size, fit and over all convince of this clutch, just works! Also there is a zip up pocket located on the “top” of the clutch that makes holding valuable items very coinvent. I know that VICI carries a couple different colors as well. I will link this item down below along with some more affordable options.
Let’s quickly jump back into this dress. Now I know that many people may be hesitant with the whole padded shoulders concept. But, I want to ease your mind. As shown in the pictures, the padded shoulders are very subtle and honestly add such shape to this whole look. Yes, trust me I have been a huge fan of just a simple T-Shirt dress for so long now. But the padded shoulder look that is coming into play, is super edgy and perfect for a simple date night outfit. I promise you will love the shape and feel of this dress! Also the security of the shoulder pads feel very secure and stable in the dress. That was one of my main concerns when purchasing this dress, was the movement of the shoulder pads, but they we’re amazing and continue to hold their shape and quality!
I wanted to highlight this beautiful and dainty gold link bracelet from Nectar Clothing. I am a sucker for gold jewelry and anything with a light feel. This bracelet has been my go-to this season. I love the simplicity and elegance this piece gives off while also maintaining to spice up any look. I often over look the power of accessories and the delicate touch they present to any causal or dressy look. Linked below for you babes!
