I cannot even believe that it is Christmas week! Where has all the time gone? I spent all morning like a busy elf in my living room wrapping gifts like a crazy person! I don’t know about any of you, but I feel so under prepared this year and as if the holiday is just zipping by! Although, I have completed some of my favorite holiday traditions like building gingerbread houses with the family, visited a magical Christmas town and got to ride the Georgetown train and also visited my Christmas jazz concert! We will be heading up to snowy Grandlake this weekend to spend Christmas in our cozy cabin for a white Christmas! I feel so blessed! What are your Christmas plans this year?
I wanted to tribute this weeks look to Christmas because not only is it so very festive but it is a perfect look for Christmas day, no matter what that may look like to you! Causal enough to wear all day, open gifts and stuff your face with yummy foods and deserts or relax by yourself on the couch! Let’s dive in!
Is this not the most cozy Christmas sweater you have ever seen? In the winter time, I LIVE for these cozy, cable knit sweaters. Of course, the turtle neck detail to keep things nice and warm! I love the bright merry red color of this specific piece. I think it is so fun for the holidays! I feel like when I look at the outfit and as I was piecing it together, I look like a total country club mom vibe, but I’m kind of loving it! Let’s get a closer look at some of these details!
One of the accessories that totally completed this look for me, was this off white small handbag. I think including a small carry on bag, of this size, shape and color just added so much to this look! I always say that it is in the small details that truly can carry the whole entire look! The best part about it all, is that these types of bags are so easy to find, affordable and easy to mix and match with almost any outfit and season! So, investing in small accessories that are truly versatile are so worth it!
Make my words, because I have said this only a couple times here on the blog. White jeans never disappoint! I love this pair that are included in todays look! Especially for the holiday season, I think added a bright white denim is so fun with any look! Because they are so easy to pair with any type of look, you could truly get as festive as you wanted to. I will link this specific pair and wanted to note before I do so, to size down in this particular jean. I went with my go to size in this denim brand and they we’re a tad bit big on me! But once I sized down, they fit like a dream!
One more detail shot and accessories shoutout is this glam, diamond bracelet! I think accessorizing for the holidays is so fun and this time of year is when I pull out all of my go-to glam pieces like my red, silver and festive earrings, necklaces and bracelets! So fun! I will of course link a few of my favorites below!
How fun and festive are these lights that we found at the Tree Farm? I love all the festivities in my town this year, it truly was so magical. I finished off this look keeping with the timeless, white themed by adding my pure white booties! I hope you all we’re inspired in some way by today’s look!
