I am so glad you are here today, to read along with me for today’s holiday look! I feel so good to finally be saying that, holiday look. Like many of you, I have been waiting months for the holiday’s to experience holiday cheer, hot chocolate and all the festive madness the holiday’s bring. Currently I am sitting at my desk, hot cocoa in hand with my holiday candles burning with Christmas music playing in the background, so festive of me right? I can’t help it y’all, I’m in a major holiday mood this year.
Speaking of being in a holiday mood, I have the most festive and cheerful looks for you all this month, I hope you are ready! Although, there may not be as many outings or holiday gatherings this year, that doesn’t mean we still can’t get all festive and dress up for all the exciting measures this month. The look I am going to be talking about today, has to be one of my favorites I’ve done, yet. I mean it! I know you all will love this look as much as I do, so let’s not waste anymore time, and sleigh our way into today’s look! See what I did there.
Okay, can we state the obvious real fast? I need to know your favorite holiday drinks from Starbucks! Why do I get so excited when they release there holiday favors? Anyone else? It’s like its very own present for me! My favorites are the Carmel Brulee Latte and the Peppermint Mocha. I am such a sucker for the peppermint flavors, ahh so good! Anyway, enough about holiday drinks even though, I could go on. This dress is so festive, so flirty and so fun for the holidays. Like I said earlier this has to be one of my favorite looks I have done so far. Although simple this dress doesn’t need much explanation. When I saw the new releases from VICI I knew this piece was such a statement. The color, is out of this world gorgeous . Obviously this deep green is such a bold and historic color for the holiday’s but it never fails to take my breath away every year.
The satin feel, and the modern classy feel this dress presents is unbelievable. I am in such awe over this masterpiece of a dress. Besides it’s undeniable beauty this dress is also very playful. The winged out sleeves give this dress another layer of elegance and playfulness at the same time. This dress was also very comfortable and easy to native in. I found myself lounging around in this dress after shooting because I just love it so much! How beautiful would this dress be for a holiday party, wedding or Christmas church or dinner. I am just speechless! Wait there’s more!
The open back gives another layer to this piece. I am usually not a fan of the open back dress, because of personal insecurities (which should not talk you out of something you are waiting to explore). So, I didn’t and I went for it, and you guessed it, I loved it! This dress was very fitted, sexy and open but allowed so much room for elegance and class. I am so thrilled I choose this piece! Did you catch the playfulness of the sleeves? SO fun! Lastly, because this dress does not need anymore explanation, I paired simply with a nude heel. But, you could absolutely dress this look up even more with a silver clutch, a silver chunky necklace and some sparkly earrings! Because this color makes such a statement, accessorizing this dress would be so darn easy!
