Let’s go to the Pumpkin Patch!

Hello everyone and welcome back to MorganneRach,

Yes, its me posting on a Sunday, what?! I told you all that I was going to continue posting fall looks up until the very end of the fall season, so that is what I am doing today on the blog! I have a perfect pumpkin patch + Thanksgiving worthy dress to show off,  plus a small review of one of the pumpkin patch’s we visited this year.

Because, like many other places there are tons of pumpkin patches around Colorado, we decided to try out some new locations this year. We have had so much fun exploring the fall season and the festivities that come along with it. For reference, if you are located in Colorado or plan on visiting during the fall time, I will leave our favorite pumpkin patches linked below. But, today we are talking about Maize in the City and my favorite mock neck pumpkin sweater dress!

I have been on such a sweater dress train this season, and I am loving it! The comfortability and style is so hard to beat! Obviously you all know by now that I love fall and obsess over this burnt orange color. This has been my most worn and purchased color this year. Something about this rust color in this mock neck dress in particular, is beyond stunning. I also am a huge fan of turtle necks, so combining the two makes for one of my favorite pieces I own to date.

Because we are still in the fall season and Thanksgiving is around the corner, this dress would be perfect for Turkey day! Not only is it the definition of comfortable (so you can eat as much as you want) butttt it is still super festive and ties right into late fall fashion. This sweater dress is also super cozy for these cooler month approaching. I don’t know what the temp is like where you live, but here in Colorado it is cooling off big time. I also love to pair my sweater dresses with mid waist belt, which I didn’t include here but is super easy to do. That’s another reason why I love the versatility of a sweater dress because there are so many different ways to style!

This sweater dress seems to be a common, lovable style because I have found and linked it from almost all of my favorite boutiques! I know that the original boutique I found it from was selling out quick so I linked this stunner from a few different boutiques for you, down below. But, can we talk about how stikin’ cute this clutch from Magnolia Boutique is?! I had to have this when I saw it because I knew you all would love it just as much. Besides being so festive and cute, this clutch is perfect for the fall season. It is so roomy while still remaining compact. The pattern is to die for you guys! They also have a backpack version, linked below!

I want to chat about Maize in the City before I wrap up this blog post. I also wanted to make a disclaimer that we visited towards the end of the season (towards late October). Also, that COVID is obviously happening so I always keep that in mind. To shoot, we also went later in the day. So, with all that being said the Maize in the City appeared super intergerning online and on social media. I could not wait to go! The patch and maize was huge. The maize seemed to have lots of interactive set ups around such as a play ground, hay stacks and a small group of pumpkins towards the front and also the corn maize (which we barely saw). A lot of the interactions we’re empty and had nothing to them, such as empty tents, lines and trucks. But, I would love to see the maize when all of their indented interactions are live and interactive! I will definitely be back next year, to see if it is any different. If you are visiting Colorado during the fall time, I would highly recommend these patches that we have loved and treasured for years!

Anderson Farms, Cottonwood Farms, Maize in the City and Chatfield Botanic Farms. Anderson Farms is my all time favorite. I uploaded a mini tour while we were there, you can find it on my TikTok @morgannelavigne3

I also completed this look with my all time favorite pure white top hat and a classic pair of white booties! I will link everything down below!

Thank you all so much for reading along today and I hope you have a fantastic rest of your weekend and start to your week! Look out for another, yes another new blog post this upcoming Thursday! That’s right girl, I’m popping out these fall looks for you all because you all know I can’t wait to show off some winter and holiday glam!

I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to the amazing photographer who took these gorg photos. If you are in the Denver area Bri is AMAZING. I will link her site HERE. Thanks Bri!
