I am so excited to be back on here typing away for a new blog post. But I am even more excited about presenting more fall content for you all! I have so major fall forward looks that are soon to hit the blog and I can’t wait to share. One being today’s look! I wanted to first check in and see how everyone’s fall season is going. My September and October have been jam packed! Jake and I finally tied the knot on October 6th and it has been crazy since but in a good way. Don’t you worry though, I have still had time to make it to the pumpkin patch and all things fall. I can’t wait any longer to show you this look, so let’s dive in!
Okay, it’s obvious now why this post is titled leaves and leather now right? There is so much going on in this look that I want to highlight so let’s start out with this skirt. When I was first creating my vison for my fall looks, I knew I wanted to incorporate a brown leather skirt somewhere in the mix. This beauty just feels into my lap. This piece is from Lulus and you won’t believe it’s only $36.oo. They also had a dark mocha brown and a black in this same style and price. I will of course link her down below. Not only is this skirt affordable but unlike many leather skirts this piece is comfortable, and versatile. I am getting more into the skirt groove, but I feel like it is so hard to find something comfortable. I swear by this skirt! I think it’s going to be a fall staple for years to come!
I wanted to next dive into this cream long sleeve bodysuit. When I tell you I have been wearing this bodysuit like crazy, I am not fibbing one bit! I love a piece such as this bodysuit that can be styled in multiple ways. Not only is this piece versatile and neutral making it easy to style, but it also has subtle details about it that make it different. The cut-out details in the bust add a tad of exaggeration, that just adds to the top. Also, the poof sleeves make this piece flirtier. Of course, with anybody suit you have that aspect of “option” but I have been loving the style options I have with this top. Linked below!
A moment for that main charter of this look, the flannel jacket. If I had to choose my favorite fall piece right now, this stunner would be at the top of my list. I picked this out from Red Dress Boutique. Not only is the quality amazing, but I have received so many compliments on this jacket. I have also been able to wear this piece nonstop on various fall occasions. The warmth, comfort and over all appeal just makes this piece worth it. I also picked up these stunning gold earrings while in vail from a local boutique @shopladyjones. I will leave their site linked HERE Hands down my favorite gold earrings to date! They are making a statement and I have been wearing them daily!
I also finished off this look with a pair of white booties. I love these booties from Dottie Couture Boutique. They are my go-to booties!
