As requested, I have a very chill & relatable post for you all today. Who doesn’t love a quality lounge set, am I right? I put a poll up on my Instagram a couple weeks ago asking you all if you would like to see more comfortable pieces, and lounge sets and boy did I get some positive feedback. So I am so excited to show off one my favorite, versatile sets from Aerie Apparel. Let’s dive in!
I love the relatable vibes this look is giving off, and I truly had so much styling it for you all. The simplicity of these lounge sets are unbeatable! How easy is it to throw on a comfortable matching set, jean jacket and sneakers and head out for your morning coffee? Such a realistic look as to something I would honestly wear on a daily basis! I definitely will be buying more sets in the future! What’s your take on the elevation of lounge sets? Although, fall is approaching I think the whole spin on the elevation of comfortable clothes will be in style for a while, and I am here for it. An easy way to make this look “fall ready” is to simply add a pant. Or in my “professional” stylist opinion, buy a pumpkin colored lounge set, put a long dress coat with some sneakers! How cute! Can you tell I’ve been surfing on Pinterest for too long lately?
I cannot get over this light pink, bubblegum color for summer! Something about a soft blush just screams at me! I also love it, because it is similar to the neutral family but adds just a bit of “spice” into a very causal look such as this one! I simply paired with one of my favorite denim jackets, that I actually picked up at my local thrift store years ago! Where are my thrift shoppers at? Such a steal of a find! But, I also obviously wear this set to bed, and around the house. I know this may go without saying, but the comfortability levels of this set, is insane!
Yes, my morning coffee runs are looking a little something like this and I am not mad about it. I also love mix matching these two items with other lounge wear I own. For example, taking the top and pairing with an ivory jogger, or a grey sweat. Even light wash jeans might I add! The boxy, cropped feel of this top is so playful and flattering. The shorts have been paired with numerous white t-shirts, knotted at the waist and multiple tanks to play with in this summer heat! I love the options this one simple set allows! Plus, if you have shopped with Aerie, which I’m sure most of you have, you all know the quality they bring to the table. So it’s a win, win!
