I guess welcome back to me as well right? I have not been posting on the blog since December, woah. That seems like so long ago! I have missed being on here and connecting so much. I am so thrilled to be back on the blog! Now that it is finally 2021, I am really looking forward to fresh starts and trying new fashion trends, so that is exactly what I will be doing in today’s post. Let’s talk graphic tee’s!
Enough chatter already, let’s dive into today’s look. I went more edgy but casual with this weeks look and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Graphic tee’s have quickly become one of my favorite pieces of clothing to style and wear. While out looking around one of my favorite shops, Altar’d State, I noticed their whole section of graphic tee’s. Of course, I will link the top mentioned in today’s post but also some of my other favorites from the shop. They had such a unique and classic selection. After I picked out this adorable cropped graphic top, I was immediately drawn to this off colored, leopard mini skirt. The two just felt like they were meant to be together. I am loving the mix of textures, patterns and colors.
I also decided to add a bold black leather jacket with white booties and a white brim hat. I thought these touches were what made this look feel edgy, but girly. I have been wearing these pieces both together in the outfit shown and separate with different articles of clothing. These pieces are so playful, and versatile which is why I gravitated and continued to love styling them so much! I wanted to share this look because one, its such a trendy and easy to style look. Two, it’s super affordable. And three, it’s very versatile and would look fabulous on ANYONE.
Can we please talk about this skirt for a minute? Aside from being super “heart eyes”, and trendy this skirt is elastic and extremely comfortable. Like all of us, comfort in fashion is something I take very seriously. So when I find a piece that is both super adorable and stylish, I make sure that I am super confident in how comfortable it is as well. I always used to stray away from anything mini, wither that be dresses or skirts. But because one of my fashion goals, is to break down boundaries, I am saying yes to pieces that take me a bit out of my comfort zone.
I also love how the leather jacket causally played off of this graphic tee. I love and have always been drawn to edgy and sometimes “grungy” pieces but I have not found my particular way of styling them. Believe it or not, a leather jacket is my staple piece. If you were to see my out on the weekends nine out of ten times, I am wearing a leather jacket. It’s my fashion comfort. So when I was able to incorporate a piece that I wear often, it gives me a more authentic and relatable outfit. I hope you all think so too!
