Fuchsia Summer Floral Dress

Hello beauties and welcome back to the blog!

Can you believe it’s already May, almost June? Truly, where has the time gone? I have been soaking up every minute of the spring weather but I truly mean it this year when I say I am so ready for summer. And if you know me, you know how unlikely that is. I may be a little bit partial because my baby boy will be arriving this summer BUT I am so ready to take on the warmer weather (sunburns and all) plus the lightweight fashion that comes along with it. That is exactly what I have in store today for you all in today’s post. I can’t wait to show you this ultra famine and must have dress for the summer. So let’s dive in!

How cute is this dress? I can’t get over it. I have said it once and I’ll say it again, I know how much of a neutral girly I am but I am having so much fun with color this season. This fuchsia floral dress has not only been one of my favorite pregnancy go-to pieces but I know I will be wearing it for seasons to come. It’s such a fun summer piece that is totally giving off summer vacation vibes! The true rich pink color with the bold floral detailing is chefs kiss!

I first picked out this dress from Pink Blush Maternity from their new arrivals section. When I tell you all, I got lost for a good hour or two surfing their website, I’m not kidding. They have so many great pieces, I had such a hard time narrowing my cart down to just a few. The amazing part about Pink Blush is that they have both maternity and non maternity pieces! Love that. But for this phase of pregnancy, it’s so nice to still have options that are super chic and modern, that still feel like me. I’m so happy I found their site and more importantly this dress!

Usually for maternity, at least in my head I don’t normally think “short” or midi dresses but I am not kidding you guys when I say I truly think this is my favorite dress to date that I own. It’s so comfortable, from the length to the size and fit. I also love the smocked puff sleeve detailing, I am always a sucker for that. Gives off such a flirty feel to a dress. I did stick true to size with a medium, which totally worked out in this case. I also love the comfortably of the roaching around the bust. It just allows for a secure feeling which makes the piece even more comfortable.

I added some really summer forward accessories with these white beachy vibe earrings from Target and this lime green cross body mini bag, also from Target. You guys, who am I with all this color going on? I really do love the play on colors here with the accessories, how well they tie into this dress and complete the look. Of course, since there are so many different shades and colors going on in this dress there is so much room to play with different colors and pairing accessories. Even sticking with a classic white purse, shoes and earrings is always timeless.

I feel so confident in this piece and have had so much fun wearing and styling it. Again, I have been loving branching out with different styles and colors. This summer is going to be bright! Something I always like to mention too, is that this dress (from experience) is also so easy to dress up or down. I have worn it with white sneakers, heels, flats and more! The world is yours with this dress!

I highly recommend you all join me and branching out in pieces that may feel a little bit more of a risk. But more often than not risks are always so worth it. What styles have you been wanting to try but are hesitate on?

I hope you all have enjoyed today’s look in some way or we’re inspired. That’s always my goal with each and every blog post. Please also let me know what you are wanting to see more of! I know with seasons in my life approaching I would love to offer more “mom style” causal but fun looks. I can’t wait to dive into more summer fashion with you all. Stay tuned for next weeks look! Until then loves, MUAH.
