Happy Friday! I am not used to saying that being, I always post on Thursday’s every week. This week has been so crazy for so many reasons but the most important being the sudden passing of my sweet uncle. As most people know unfortunately dealing with a sudden loss has been nothing short of a nightmare and I am broken. So today’s post is a day late. I thought of not even posting at all this week to take time to reflect and process. But, in doing so I have been reminded of how much this blog is a creative and healthy outlet for me. So, I am going to continue on with my weekly routine and talk about fashion and show you all this amazing summer dress.
So lets do it! Today’s dress is such a summer vacation take me to the beach with a sweet and salty margarita vibe. It’s so funny to be posting all these summer looks because I know we are approaching fall fashion. Yes, I am so freaking excited if you were wondering. Anyway, vactikons are always being had, and summer is not quite over yet people! I know here in Colorado it has been 90 degrees all week. How are you all feeling? Are you more of a summer person of a fall person?
Okay, how stunning are these details you guys! Honestly when I was shooting and styling this look I had to remind myself of the last time I wore a long maxi dress like this. I feel like it has been forever! I felt so girly and fancy in this piece. I also forgot how comfortable maxi dresses are, I have been missing out big time. I have been seeing SO many weddings on my feed this past month. This dress would be perfect for any occasion for this time of year. Also, lets talk about this slit. I am such a fan on a slit in any dress but something about the slit in this maxi dress adds amazing shape and style. I get a little bit weird with slits in dresses, if they are too high or what its going to look like on me but girl, you are going to rock it and look amazing!
I don’t think anything beats a floral print you guys. Like how subtle and precious are these colorful flowers on this maxi? I love adding color to my looks with floral prints like this one. If you are a neutral girl like I am, this is a perfect way (that I like) to incorporate color into my looks. Also wanted to add, that is dress would be so beautiful on a mama to be, for a maternity dress or a baby shower. Okay, getting ahead of myself now.
Beachy dress, so beachy earrings of course. I love these woven earrings, and the overall vibe they add to an outfit. I have been wearing these non stop with other outfits and they have been my go to earrings as of lately. They are such an amazing price for the quality and charm. Also I snagged them at Target so they should be super easy for anyone to locate. They also came in a few other colors!
I cant end this post without talking about these sleeves. This was the main reason I was drawn to this dress. I have never owned anything like this before. I am obsessed with this off the shoulder, sleeve feel to this maxi. It adds so much to the way it feels and fits. These easy to slip on sleeves add security and comfort. I love the little bit of flare they give off, to this already beaming dress.
Tip: I would size down if looking to purchase this dress. I am a true medium but I am in a size small here. Such a perfect and comfortable feel.

It has been quite emotional over here because it is my first time dealing with real loss so I really appreciate all of your kind words and messages over social media.
