Feelin’ the Love

Of course, as always I am so excited you are here and joining me today to talk Valentines Day glam! I don’t know about you all, but something about Valentine’s Day excites me every year. Even when I was a young girl, in elementary school, I loved Valentine’s Day. Although, I think Valentine’s Day in grade school was a lot more thrilling with picking out your themed Valentine’s Day cards and writing your classmates name on each and every one. And then making your special box for everyone to drop off to during your class room party. So fun! Ah, I would do anything to go back! Do you all love Valentine’s Day as much as I do? Don’t get me wrong, being an adult on Valentine’s Day is romantic and still joyful as we celebrate our love, no matter what that looks like.

I wanted to get my look for Valentine’s Day, out and ready for you all a week early. Although, some of you readers may already have your looks planned, I wanted to share some inspiration and chat about the day of love with you all. One of my favorite parts of blogging, is simply connecting and chatting with you all about obviously fashion, but things that excite us such as holidays!

How pretty is this soft pick? Such a delegate piece for the most romantic day of the year. If you are thinking what I’m thinking, you already know where I picked this beauty up from. Any guesses? That’s right, VICI Dolls. I knew I had to have it and style for the blog. Not only is the color absolute charming but the puffer shoulders and mid length sleeves, totally elevate this sweater dress. I think every season, I have styled and shown off sweaters dresses. Maybe that should be the new day of my blog? (Jokes) But, I am obviously very drawn to this style mainly because of the versatility of sweater dresses. Also, they are simply and easy ways to be stylish and personalize.

I know I’m not the only one who is loving gold accessories this year. Like I just mentioned about the versatility of this look, I wanted to add a touch of edge to this very feminine approach to a Valentine’s Day outfit. I added some layered gold necklaces, that I know are so trendy right now. It amazes me how much power accessories hold, and how they transform a look completely. The best part is, you don’t need to break the bank trying to find layered gold accessories. I found these pieces at Forever21 for under $10. Not to mention that I wear them everywhere, and not one necklace has broke, worn down, or felt cheap. Of course, I will link down below for you all. Are you team gold or silver? I wanted to also talk about the length of this dress because I know it is always something that I am curious about when looking to purchase a dress of any kind. I picked out a size Medium in this dress, like I normally do in dresses and tops. I thought this dress fit very true to size. I loved how the piece was comfortable but form fitting to show curves. The dress remains very flattering and I felt super confident while in it! To me, this sounds like a recipe for a perfect Valentines day look.

Although subtle, this dress has so many details that make it super playful and girly which was what I was going for when creating this look. I think, as mentioned these high puffer shoulders give such an elegant touch to this dress. Not to mention the color, it screams Valentine’s Day! I wanted to remain simple with the shoe, so you guessed it. My classic nude  heeled sandal. But trust me when I say, these shoes go with ANYTHING as you all have witnessed here on Morganne Rach.
