Hello again and welcome back to MorganneRach,
It’s me again! As I promised, I am posting twice this week! Sooo, that only means I have another blog post for you all today! If you caught it at the end of my previous post I had mentioned that this weeks post would be the start of my fall looks! I am so excited to finally start showing off some fall looks for you all! Today’s look is a tad bit out of my comfort zone. But at the beginning of this year, I decided I wanted to try to push my limits within my personal fashion and here on the blog! Trying new trends, that might make you nervous always have marvelous outcomes. Let’s take a look, I can’t wait!
Okay, let’s take a seconded to look at how gorgeous these sunflowers are! I was so happy when I saw these beauties and we we’re able to shoot with them! Okay, now for the obvious let’s talk about this dress y’all! If you have been following for a while now you may notice that I have never posted something like this. I saw this dress while doing my round up of fall looks, and wanted to incorporate something different, that would be appropriate for all occasion fall. Although this dress might not be my go-to pick for the pumpkin patch, it would be so fun for a more dressy occasion such as a fall wedding! Let’s take a closer look at this leather beauty!
Like I said, I have never owned or styled anything like this piece so I kept this look really classic, and simple. I love the details on the sleeves of this dress. Anything item with a puffy sleeve, I am all in! I think it adds so much to a simple piece to give off a certain feel. I also am a huge fan of the lining details in the upper half of the dress. I think the details add an extra pop and feel of shape to this look. After wearing, and playing with this piece I came to the conclusion that I could have sized down to a small. Because this dress is so “loud” and heavy, sizing down for any body type and shape would be recommended.
Despite how leather may sometimes appear or look in a bigger piece such as a dress, this pick was so comfortable. Also because this dress was bigger for me, I love how the mid waist detailing allowed me to still show curve and shape in this dress. I also thought the length was perfect comfort wise. Like I mentioned before, I went very simple with this look, but that doesn’t mean that this dress could not be paired with even more elegant accessories or on the other had more causal. Even though, this dress makes quite the statement. It is still super neutral and can be easy to style! I had so much fun stepping out of my comfort zone and trying out a piece that I wouldn’t normally go for! I encourage you all to do the same!
I also wanted to disclose that this dress is faux leather and no animals we’re harmed in the making of this piece as I have done my research through En Saison’s site.
Thank is all for today loves! I am so excited to continue to show off more fall looks that are in the works! You all are going to freak! Of course I will link everything down below for you all. Happy fall everyone (in my eyes)! Until next time loves, MUAH,
