I am thrilled to have you all here as always! I absolutely cannot believe it is August already, like where did the time go? Does anyone want to guess what I am possibly going to say next? Fall fashion is right around the corner baby! I am so so so excited. What about you all? I haven’t done it yet, but I am very tempted to start decorating my home for fall, but I promised Jake I would wait, just a little bit.
Anyway, on the blog I am looking to incorporate more transition pieces, meaning leaning out of summer wear and incorporating more neutral pieces that will work for both late summer, early fall. Although it is still super warm here in Colorado. What is the temperature like where you live?

Okay, if you can’t tell by the title this look is a perfect mix of two of my favorite worlds. I love pairing an edgy graphic tee with a skirt or flared jeans. I think it is so trendy and a perfect “going out” look. The blend of these two items, just made my vison for this look, come to life! The fun part is, creating a look similar to this, is so easy, affordable and versatile. I do recommend sizing down in the top. Not only can you throw on a pair of white sneakers and call it a day, but you could add heels, or even better some fall booties. Yes transition pieces!
Graphic t-shirts have been my holy grail this year! It’s hard not to play around with the simplicity and versatility of a graphic tee. This look was made for this combination! I got this top from (drum roll) VICI Dolls. Which I will link down below. They have such a wide, and unique selection of graphic’s tee’s. I love the soft beige with the bold tiger and pink lettering, such a dream. Not to mention I wear this top everywhere now! Tucked into jeans, loose with leggings and tied up with a ruffle skirt. So many options!
Let’s chat about with white ruffle skirt, how cute right? I know you have all heard me go on about Dottie Couture Boutique but, they are truly a one stop shop and one of my favorite boutiques to buy from. This skirt caught my eye on their site the second I saw it and I just knew I had to have it. The comfort is threw the roof. I know this is such a playful pieces too. Not only have I been pulling for this skirt all month long, but I know it will also compliment all of my hundreds (jokes) of fall sweaters and fall booties. Fall fashion is on the brain if you couldn’t tell!
What do you all think about tying your graphic tee’s like I did in todays look? It’s so funny because I used to do this allll the time back in the day. I love that it’s coming back! Just makes everything so easy. If you know me, in real life you know how much I adore these white, platform New Balances. They go with me everywhere, no joke. I love these shoes!
