Happy June by the way! Summer is here and I could not be more thrilled. I am ready for all the floral scents, pool days and summer fashion. Due to my comfort level right now, all I have been loving and wearing are dresses for the past month or so and I have to say I am having a lot of fun with it. I typically never wore dresses day in and day out but again I am loving the the comfort, lightweight feel and flexibility it is giving me style wise. Today’s look checks all of those boxes, let’s dive in!
This dress could not scream summer anymore if it tried! How cute is the blue floral? Not only is this dress stylish and fitting for the hot summer months to come, but the comfort level is something else. From the pattern to the hints of green this dress screams summer patio, summer wedding or summer hangout! Truly loving investing in pieces that give off the most style, comfort and wear. Like I have said in many past blog posts since being pregnant, I know this dress will see just as much wear even after the babe. You’ll never guess where I found this beauty either. Love getting a closer look here with the floral blue pattern with hints of green. I think this color combo screams summer! And how cute is this dress styled on the bump. I think taking any maxi flowy type dress and putting it over the bump is the cutest! The bust of the dress also has a super cute accent that gives off even more of a summer vibe with the “knot” type tie. This dress would also be so perfect on vacation or for a baby moon!
The length and fit of this dress has also been so comfortable moving through pregnancy. Also considering after pregnancy having a fitting maxi is just a must in the summer. I have shown a lot for tighter, form fitting dresses here on the blog which is typically my go-to, but I am really loving a more relaxed comfort vibe this summer. I truly cannot say enough about this dress. If you’re anything like me a love strolling the isles of TJ Maxx , don’t pass up the opportunity. There are so many hidden gems! I also love offering a variety of pieces with different price points. You don’t always have a spend a fortune!
I styled this look with some really fun colored accessories. When I saw this beauty of a dress I knew I had this super cute off green/yellow cross body clutch in my closet. I don’t think it could have matched any better. The two go hand and hand for me now! I love adding simple colors to an already colorful look! I think this is a perfect example of that! I also added some “summer like” cross mini heeled sandals. BUT as I always say you can truly dress this look up or down. The options are limitless here in terms of colors, accessories and shoe options! The the best part about fashion!
