Birthday Brunch

Today I turned 19 and I am super excited about how the day turned out! I had an unbelievably tasty brunch at a cafe in the city of Lakewood, called The French Press. This place is known for there unforgettable coffee and super yummy choices of breakfast and lunch foods. But of course, the first thing that got me hooked on this place was the coffee. Today, I got a caramel latte, that was out of this world delicious. I was accompanied by the closest people to me, my mom, sister and boyfriend! It was an absolute blast! In Belmar, which is a shopping center in Lakewood, there is a festival held every year around this time known as the “Italian Fest.” The streets were crazy busy and packed with vendors, live music and tons of food! I always enjoyed going to this event, and now that I’m getting a little older it becomes more and more enjoyable. I am part Italian so it’s always fun to get more of an insight about your roots, even if its just the little things. I then spent the rest of the day enjoying the company of my loved ones. Such an amazing day! Plus I was obsessing over my outfit combination for today! Perfect for Fall, super light and comfortable.

Although today is a day of celebration for my family and I. I always like to take time out of my day to remember those who were affected by the tragedy on September 11th.
